Welcome!
Emergency Medical Services at UC San Diego (EMS at UCSD) was founded in 2016 by a group of undergraduate students to establish a community of first-responders, enhance campus safety, and advocate for the creation of a student-supported campus-based emergency medical services (EMS) system staffed by student emergency medical technicians (EMTs). Over the years, EMS at UCSD has promoted EMS awareness on campus, offered educational courses, and supported UCSD intiatives to improve the health of our community.
EMS at UCSD was awarded the New Student Organization of the Year Award for 2016-2017 by the UCSD Centers for Student Involvement. It was also awarded a grant from the UCSD Parent Fund in 2019/2024 to teach free Stop the Bleed courses on campus and a grant in 2024 to teach CPR.
We welcome all students interested in the field of EMS and emergency medicine. Join us at one of our general body meetings (GBMs), and sign up for our newsletter below to stay up to date on our activities.
