EMS at UCSD, alongside UCPD, UCSD EHS, and San Diego Project HeartBeat taught 60 incoming sixth-grade students about disparities CPR awareness and use, while teaching them the essential, lifesaving measure!

Hope HMP3 URiM Conference

EMS at UC San Diego attended the HOPE HMP3 URiM conference and held a CPR demonstration workshop for the attendees. By doing so, we were able to teach the attendees how to perform effective Hands-Only-CPR and contribute to the Revive and Survive Initiative’s goal of reaching 1 Million San Diegans who are trained in Hands-Only-CPR!

At our first GBM of Winter quarter, we will be training and certifying students in a bleeding control course created by the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma. The workshop will involve hands-on skills and small group training. Certification will be provided at no cost.
