EMS at UCSD Training

Emergency Medical Services at UC San Diego offers a variety of trainings to the UCSD and greater San Diego community. If you would like to inquire about any of these training or additional services, reach out through our email or any of our socials.

Basic Life Support

We hold numerous BLS classes across the school year, with 4 BLS instructors on our board and more being recruited.

Hands-Only CPR and AED Use

We provide hands-only CPR and AED instruction so that individuals can recognize cardiac arrest and take action in the field.

Naloxone Administration

As the opioid epidemic increases across the U.S., our group of EMT certified individuals strive to help the UCSD community recognize and respond to opioid overdoses, while differentiating between other drug induced physiological states.

Stopping the Bleed

All EMS at UCSD board members are Stop the Bleed certified instructors and have extensive training in prehospital trauma life support as EMT-Basics.
